Canesten thrush external cream contains the active ingredient clotrimazole 2% which works to effectively calm itching and irritation. This product can also be used by your partner if they have any concerns.
The fungus responsible for thrush is known as candida. This fungus tends to thrive in moist, warm environments but can also be caused by skin irritations, taking antibiotics, hormone changes or even the result of a weakened immune system.
Thrush is a common condition caused by a yeast infection that many people, especially women will experience at some point in their lives. Symptoms of thrush include a burning sensation when you go to the loo, itching, irritation and abnormal vaginal discharge.

- As with other creams, this product may reduce the effectiveness of rubber contraceptives, such as condoms or diaphragms
How to use
expand_more- Wash your hands before and after using the cream.
- Apply the cream thinly to affected areas 2 or 3 times a day and rub in gently.
- Treatment should be continued for up to one week after treating the internal infection in women and for two weeks in men.
- If symptoms persist consult your doctor.
Ingredients

Other ingredients: Benzyl Alcohol, Polysorbate 60, Sorbitan Stearate, Cetyl Palmitate, Cetostearyl Alcohol, Octyldodecanol and Purified Water (see the enclosed leaflet for further information).

Pharmacy Medicines delivery
Pharmacy Medicines will need to be signed for by someone aged 18 or over. If there isn't anyone in who can sign for your order, you can change your delivery date using the courier's website or app. The pharmacy team may need to contact you by phone for additional information. Please ensure that the contact details you provide during checkout are correct. If they are unable to reach you, the order may be cancelled.
Unfortunately, your order can't be left in a safe place, with a neighbour, or diverted to a ParcelShop. The courier will try to deliver it three times before they return it to us.
Purchasing in bulk/high unit volume
Please note that when purchasing high unit volumes of single lines (10+ units) delivery promotions are null and void.
This is a result of high-volume orders not being able to be dispatched via our normal third-party fulfilment.
As a result for any excessive bulk orders of single lines, we will be in touch regarding your order to discuss further delivery costs that will be incurred.
