A stimulant free laxative for the relief of painful stools.

Dulcoease® stool softener provides relief when bowel movement is painful or difficult. It can be used when you have constipation, piles or anal fissure. It works by helping hard, dry stools soak up natural fluids.

  • Store out of the reach and sight of children
  • Do not store above 25°C
  • Store in the original package in order to protect from moisture
  • Do not take if you are: pregnant, thinking of becoming pregnant, or breast feeding
  • Consult a doctor if you need this medicine every day, or have persistent stomach ache
  • If you accidently overdose, drink lots of water and contact your doctor immediately

How to use

  1. 1 capsule orally, up to 5 times per day; initially, try 3 capsules per day, then adjust according to need.
  2. Reduce the dose when you feel more comfortable, usually within 1-2 days.
  3. Swallow whole with water.

Active Ingredients: Each DulcoEase capsule contains Docusate Sodium 100mg.

Other ingredients: Macrogol 400, Propylene Glycol, Gelatin, Glycerol, Sorbitol, Titanium Dioxide (E171), Water, Colours (E104, E110).

Standard delivery

  • £3.49 for all orders
  • Delivered in 3-4 working days once the pharmacist approves your order 
  • Orders only approved Monday to Friday


Pharmacy Medicines delivery

Pharmacy Medicines will need to be signed for by someone aged 18 or over. If there isn't anyone in who can sign for your order, you can change your delivery date using the courier's website or app. The pharmacy team may need to contact you by phone for additional information. Please ensure that the contact details you provide during checkout are correct. If they are unable to reach you, the order may be cancelled.

Unfortunately, your order can't be left in a safe place, with a neighbour, or diverted to a ParcelShop. The courier will try to deliver it three times before they return it to us.

Purchasing in bulk/high unit volume

Please note that when purchasing high unit volumes of single lines (10+ units) delivery promotions are null and void.
This is a result of high-volume orders not being able to be dispatched via our normal third-party fulfilment.
As a result for any excessive bulk orders of single lines, we will be in touch regarding your order to discuss further delivery costs that will be incurred.
