17-23 May is Dementia Action Week and we’re proud to partner with Alzheimer’s Society.
With around 850,000 people currently living with dementia in the UK. We recognise that dementia is likely to touch all of us at some point in our lives. From bake sales, to sponsored runs, dementia friends, Jokes on you dementia and more, LloydsPharmacy are proud to support Alzheimer’s Society and people living with dementia.

Through their personalised support service, Dementia Connect, dementia advisers provide advice and support to anyone affected by dementia seven days a week. Our colleagues are supporting Alzheimer’s society this May by taking part in activity challenges, online quizzes and much more.

Dementia Action Week 2021
expand_moreThis Dementia Action Week the charity is calling on the Government to cure the care system now. To provide quality social care, that is free and easy to access, no matter where you live. Because while dementia isn’t curable yet, the care system is.
Dementia friends
expand_moreDementia Friends is an initiative run by Alzheimer’s society to improve our understanding of dementia and people living with dementia, people are encouraged to learn about how dementia can affect us and small everyday things that can help. With 1400 pharmacies throughout the UK, LloydsPharmacy has over 10,000 colleagues registered as Dementia Friends.
